About the Role

R.R. Cassidy is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position assists with employee records, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HR communications, attendance, and other HR-related activities while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records and HR files.
  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support new-hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, coordinating orientations, and ensuring required documentation is completed.
  • Assist with employee changes, transfers, promotions, and separations.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and company programs or direct questions to the appropriate HR team member.
  • Maintain HR databases and employee information in HRIS and other systems.
  • Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll-related administrative tasks.
  • Support benefits enrollment and employee benefits administration.
  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documents as needed.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities, training programs, and company events.
  • Help ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or office experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
