About the Role

Wild Dunes Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee two outlets: Hudson’s Market & Café and The Sweet Shoppe.

Hudson’s Market & Café offers a perfect blend of convenience and coastal charm, featuring fresh-made sandwiches, salads, coffee drinks, snacks, grocery essentials, and locally inspired treats. It’s an ideal grab-and-go stop for breakfast, lunch, or beach-day provisions, and also carries Lowcountry gifts and keepsakes.

The Sweet Shoppe brings out everyone’s inner kid with ice cream, candy, gelato, sundaes, and milkshakes—a family-favorite dessert destination that adds a playful, nostalgic touch to the resort experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises the outlets team
• Conducts daily lineups before each shift
• Communicates all necessary information to the front and back of house staff for each shift
• Ensures physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant, including inspecting tabletops and side stations
• Responsible for daily report input and logbook entries
• Enforces high standards of hygiene and sanitation within the outlets
• Ensures the security of monies, credit, and financial transactions
• Supervises the performance, attendance, attitudes, appearance, and conduct of team members
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• South Carolina ServSafe Alcohol Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) required

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling, and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally
• Indoor and outdoor settings depending on venue
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment
