About the role

KPS is seeking an experienced, remote HubSpot Developer / API & AI Automation Contractor to work directly with our U.S.-based team on the development, customization, integration, and automation of our business systems. This is a hands-on technical role beyond standard HubSpot administration. Looking for a developer who can customize HubSpot CRM and CMS, build API integrations between software platforms, develop advanced workflows and automations, support marketing campaigns, and build AI-powered tools and bots that can extract, organize, analyze, and act on business data. The ideal candidate is someone who can understand a business process, identify how technology can improve it, and then design and build the solution.

Responsibilities

  • Build automated actions based on deal stage changes, customer activity, dates, values, or other business conditions
  • Create workflows that automatically update records, assign tasks, notify employees, generate follow-up actions, and move information between departments
  • Improve CRM data structure, consistency, and usability
  • Assist with HubSpot reporting, dashboards, attribution, and management reporting
  • Customize/maintain existing previously built HubSpot CMS websites and landing pages
  • Build/modify: website templates, landing pages, forms, modules, dynamic content, calls-to-action, customer-facing forms and portals
  • Connect website activity and form submissions directly into CRM processes and automated workflows

  • Work with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth, and API authentication
  • Connect HubSpot with ERP, accounting, estimating, project management, customer service, communication, marketing, and other software platforms
  • Build custom middleware or integration applications when native integrations are not available
  • Create two-way data synchronization between systems
  • Map data fields between different applications
  • Automate the transfer of contacts, companies, deals, projects, pricing, products, documents, and other business information
  • Troubleshoot API errors, failed synchronization, authentication issues, and data conflicts
  • Create documentation for integrations and workflows
  • Extract information from documents, PDFs, emails, websites, CRM records, and other data sources
  • Compare information between systems
  • Populate CRM fields automatically
  • Create tasks or workflows based on extracted information
  • Analyze customer or project information
  • Generate responses, summaries, reports, or recommendations
  • Trigger HubSpot workflows or API actions based on AI analysis
