Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned shipping and/or receiving functions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory per vendor and/or company standards and ensure related documentation is accurate and complete.
• Assist with timely and accurate completion of basic order fulfillment as time permits.
• Assume responsibility for accurate and timely receiving and inventory reporting.
• Rotate between departments and jobs on an as-needed basis.
• Establish and maintain good communications, coordination, and working relations with company personnel and management.
• Support coworkers as needed and keep management informed of area activities and significant concerns.
• Identify problems and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure shipping and/or receiving inventory is properly documented in accordance with company policies.
• Execute shipping and receiving functions, including operating forklifts.
• Assist with warehouse stock management and automation of stock (e.g., bar coding).
• Conduct inventory control audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow established quality and safety standards, meet deadlines, and inspect work upon completion.
• Maintain a clean, secure, and well-maintained work area.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Obtain company certifications (e.g., forklift operation) as necessary.
• Willingness to work from a ladder or power lift.

Requirements

• Quality orientation and basic computer skills.
• Well-organized and attentive to detail.
• Willingness to assist others and closely follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving procedures.
• Flexible team player with the ability to execute duties efficiently and error-free.
