About the role
The Museum of Illusions, Johannesburg offers an engaging and interactive environment designed to challenge perceptions and stimulate the senses. Our exhibits feature a variety of optical illusions, puzzles, and interactive displays that are both fun and thought-provoking.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming visitors and providing information about the exhibits
- Assisting with the operation of interactive exhibits
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the premises
- Engaging with visitors to encourage exploration and discussion of the exhibits
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge
- Basic understanding of optical illusions and interactive exhibit operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with the public or in a customer service role
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency procedures

- Physical stamina for standing and moving around the venue
