About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented HTML/CSS Developer to join our remote web-development team. The successful candidate will help create, update, and maintain responsive websites while working with designers, developers, and project teams. Job Description
Web Page Development
Build responsive web pages using HTML5 and CSS3
Convert Figma, Adobe XD, or similar designs into functional website layouts
Update and maintain existing website pages
Create reusable layouts, components, and styling
Ensure consistent typography, spacing, and visual presentation
Responsive Design and Testing
Build mobile-first layouts
Test pages across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Resolve browser compatibility and styling issues
Use Flexbox and CSS Grid to create responsive interfaces
Review pages for visual accuracy before release
Website Quality and Accessibility
Use semantic HTML
Follow basic accessibility standards
Maintain clean and organized CSS
Identify and correct layout issues
Check links, forms, navigation, and interactive page elements
Team Collaboration
Work with designers to understand layout requirements
Collaborate with developers during website implementation
Communicate progress and technical issues clearly
Participate in reviews and respond to feedback
Document website changes when required
Qualifications
At least 12 months of practical HTML and CSS experience
Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
Experience building responsive layouts
Understanding of Flexbox and CSS Grid
Ability to convert visual designs into functioning web pages
Strong attention to detail
Good written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Basic JavaScript, Git, GitHub, WordPress, or Figma experience is preferred
Portfolio, GitHub profile, or live website examples are strongly encouraged
