Job Overview
What You'll Be Doing
- Supply Management: Assist restocking housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens.
- Unloading and organization of incoming supply orders.
- Ensure all necessary supplies are readily available for housekeepers.
- Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash from guest rooms, hallways and public areas.
- Empty trash receptacles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Linen and Towels: Collect dirty linens and towels from guest rooms.
- Deliver clean linens and towels to housekeeping carts or storage areas.
What You Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
Working Conditions & Physical Effort
- Physical work is a primary part of many of our hotel and resort jobs.
- Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs.
- Some work is performed in an interior hotel environment with equipment and machines.
- The work involves exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- The exposure to hazards or physical risks requires following basic safety precautions and use of applicable protective equipment.
