About the role

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a high-impact HSE Manager to support an ongoing project in Haskell, TX. This role focuses on driving a strong safety culture and partnering with project teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and all other safety-related federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support, implement, and direct Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) systems in the field.
  • Author technical reports in a clear, concise format.
  • Apply knowledge of local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Understand principles, standards, and techniques of HSSE management.
  • Professional understanding of physical science, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, physiology, and related fields contributing to HSSE objectives.
  • Develop and enforce project Safety Program and related policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to create project-specific safety reports, assess metrics, and recommend improvements.
  • Hold preconstruction planning meetings with subcontractors to review site safety programs and job hazard analyses.
  • Establish and review risk mitigation plans for subcontractor scopes of work.
  • Availability for routine trips to site field locations; ability to access elevated areas is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive field experience on large-scale projects, with 4+ years in management.
  • Proven ability to support large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Ability to identify known and potential safety exposures and lead corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with general construction operations.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to build professional relationships.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills with effective presentation delivery.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking, good judgment, and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
