About the Opportunity
The HSE Manager is responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for small to medium-sized client accounts. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture that protects employees, clients, and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Promote a positive and proactive health and safety culture while ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
- Implement and review procedures, playbooks, and processes to support program consistency and operational efficiency.
- Manage initiatives designed to meet regulatory, legal, health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
- Identify, track, and manage operational and safety risks using strategic risk management practices.
- Monitor incident reports, identify trends, and recommend preventative and corrective measures.
- Oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across assigned client accounts.
- Collaborate with management and stakeholders to identify safety concerns and develop effective solutions.
- Model behaviors and practices aligned with organizational values and safety expectations.
- Apply professional knowledge and judgment to support team and departmental objectives.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues involving systems, processes, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Relevant health, safety, or environmental certifications as required by local authorities.
- Ability to communicate sensitive, technical, and complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and influence quality and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Pay
- Base salary range of $120,000–$130,000 USD annually.
- Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and other relevant factors.
- Eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package may apply.
