HSE Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a HSE Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will drive health, safety, and environmental programs across varied client environments, with a strong focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. The HSE Manager will help shape safety culture, guide operational stakeholders, and ensure practices align with regulatory and legal requirements. This position also requires effective communication of findings and concerns to leadership and other key partners.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and compliance among stakeholders
• Implement and review playbooks for effective health, safety, and environmental initiatives
• Manage compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in health and safety
• Develop strategic risk management strategies to address operational and safety risks
• Monitor and analyze injury, illness, and incident reports for prevention strategies
• Ensure ongoing health, safety, and environmental regulatory compliance within the organization
• Communicate findings and concerns effectively to management and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 4-6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Additional certifications required by local authority for health and safety
• Strong communication skills for sensitive and complex information exchange
• Leadership abilities to enhance team quality and efficiency
• Proficient in Google Suite and Smartsheet for project management and collaboration

Pay

$120,000 – $125,000 annually
