Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for employees and operational compliance with environmental regulations.
• Foster a safety culture, reinforcing safety (process safety and occupational health and safety) as the highest priority in plant operations.
• Stay up to date on HSE policies, procedures, and information; conduct necessary audits and reporting.
• Provide HSE training and act as a safety coach.
• Advise management on HSE matters.
• Review plant operations and employee management of safety through physical observation and walkthroughs.
• Conduct behavior-based audits, train other auditors, and monitor programs.
