JOB SUMMARY

The Athletic Coach is responsible for developing athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting physical fitness and sportsmanship. The Coach plans and leads practices, prepares athletes for competition, and supports their overall growth both on and off the field.

Additional Information/Requirements

• This position is classified as a Virginia High School League (VHSL) activity and, if selected, requires completion of specific training as outlined by VHSL guidelines.
• VHSL training within one year of their first VHSL coach assignment with PWCS.
• Must annually complete the PWCS Coaches Essential Bundle.
• Maintain current certification in CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Every 10 years, must recertify all mandated VHSL and PWCS training and certifications.
