About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a K-12 teacher in an alternative certification program. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of students and are eager to contribute to a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning community.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (required).
  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate or eligibility for alternative certification (required).
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a classroom or similar setting (preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
