Responsibilities

• Minimum Certification requirement: Substitute Teacher
• Coaching Experience: Head Coach positions require at least 5 years of successful coaching experience in the sport.
• Assistant Coach positions prefer successful coaching experience.
• Employment in District: Full-time teaching assignment in Middletown Township Public Schools preferred.
• Sports Management: Ability to proactively manage student academic and behavioral support, scheduling, budgeting, equipment and materials.
• Sports Knowledge: Proficiency in the technical aspects of the sport being coached, including the latest training and conditioning techniques to ensure the safety of the student athlete.
• Post-Secondary Sports Knowledge: Firm understanding of the process of preparing high school student athletes for college level competition and ability to assist in college searches and provide recommendations for the qualified student athletes.

Qualifications

• Substitute Teacher Certification
• At least 5 years of successful coaching experience in gymnastics for Head Coach positions.
• Successful coaching experience preferred for Assistant Coach positions.
• Full-time teaching assignment in Middletown Township Public Schools preferred.
