HS Collaboration Teacher (1990)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Teachers plan, implement, and supervise all classroom activities. This position works with typically developing children and children with disabilities. The position works in tandem with an integrated team to support the goals of the program.
About the Role
Experience working with young children and/or teaching experience highly desirable. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; may be required for certain locations/assignments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.
- Supervise classroom activities and ensure safety and health standards are met.
- Collaborate with an integrated team to support the goals of the program.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and colleagues.
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
- Bachelor degree in another discipline is acceptable with 18 hours of coursework in early childhood education.
Skills
Proficiency in using technology tools for lesson planning and assessment.
