About the role

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [SC00]. This role can be filled in any FE approved location.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end contractor lifecycle processes, including onboarding, management, and offboarding
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within contractor management
  • Avoid contractor data is accurately maintained and aligned within organizational structures
  • Support system releases, enhancements, and regression testing
  • Apply HR data governance practices to ensure consistency, integrity, and accuracy of data
  • Conduct regular audits of data objects to maintain clean and reliable data
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies and audit requirements
  • Provide Tier 2 support and troubleshooting for core data issues
  • Cook with HR Help Desk to keep Knowledge Base Articles up to date
  • Contribute to the overall HR Technology Strategy to ensure a focus on digital, modern solutions that enhance employee experience

Qualifications

  • At HR Representative II Level: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics or a related field. Minimum 2-4 years relevant work experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with HR software and systems is advantageous. Experience providing customer-focused support, both internally and externally. Experience in building positive relationships and working with peers cross-functionally, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration. Ability to analyze data to develop recommendations and drive process improvement. Ability to be flexible, adaptable and navigate effectively through change.
  • At HR Representative III Level: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics or a related field. Minimum 4 years relevant work experience. Minimum 7 years relevant work experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with HR software and systems is advantageous. Experience providing customer-focused support, both internally and externally. Experience in building positive relationships and working with peers cross-functionally, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration. Ability to analyze data to develop recommendations and drive process improvement. Ability to be flexible, adaptable and navigate effectively through change.
