About the role
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst supports the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB “A Better Place to Be.”
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Bank’s HRIS and related applications.
- Maintain employee records, organizational structures, workflows, and system configurations.
- Cook up system upgrades, testing, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of HR data.
- Solve HRIS issues directly or work with the appropriate vendors for issue resolution.
- Analyze workforce metrics including headcount, turnover, hiring, diversity, compensation, and organizational trends.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and system enhancements.
- Leverage system analytics to drive strategic organizational decision-making and workforce planning.
- Lead HR system projects, implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Recommend technology solutions that improve employee and manager experiences.
- Document HR system procedures and maintain process documentation.
- Provide training and support for managers and employees using HR systems.
- Develop user guides, job aids, and training materials.
Requirements
- A strong “People First” interest and ability.
- Knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations, employment laws, HR data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting an HRIS platform such as Paylocity, UKG Pro, ADP Workforce Now, Rippling or similar.
- Experience creating reports and analyzing HR data.
- Banking or financial services experience preferred.
- Advanced Google Suite and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
- A presence, confidence, and communication skills that assure effective participation at all levels of an organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS administration or related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and related software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
