About the role

Provides large and small group instruction in all subjects in regular teacher's absence; develops classroom lesson plans or follows lesson plans provided by teacher in his/her absence; maintains standard pupil behavior; maintains suitable class control and provides an orderly learning environment; performs other related duties as assigned by the school principal.

Requirements / Qualifications

• SCOE on-line Application.
  • Copy of valid, California Teaching Credential or California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, Teaching Permit for Statutory Leave (TPSL), or TCC issued by SCOE.
  • Effective January 1, 2025 AB 2535 District Employment History Required. (This portion of the application is REQUIRED FOR CURRENT & PREVIOUS CERTIFICATED EMPLOYMENT).

  • Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance
  • Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance dated within 60 days of orientation.
  • Original signed Social Security Card with current name on it (for payroll purposes)

  • Provide verification of Mandated Reporter Training within first 6 weeks of employment.
