The HR Technology Analyst position supports the optimization and continuous improvement of a critical HR technology ecosystem. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing configurations, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting testing of enhancements and configuration updates.
- Analyzing business needs, identifying root causes of system challenges, and recommending solutions aligned with operational goals.
- Configuring, validating, and testing Workday business processes, data loads, system releases, and process improvements.
- Maintaining awareness of HR technology trends and applying relevant practices to improve system delivery and user experience.
- Partnering with internal teams and external technology providers to resolve issues, improve processes, and optimize system capabilities.
- Providing subject matter expertise and guidance to HR teams, managers, and users on system functionality and best practices.
Requirements include:
- A strong background in HR technology, information systems, business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting multiple Workday modules, including HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Security, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Performance, or Talent.
- A strong understanding of HR operations, HR processes, and employee data management.
- Experience with Workday Payroll, particularly Canadian payroll configuration and compliance.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing system testing, data validation, configuration changes, and system enhancements.
- A highly organized, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
