About the role

The HR Specialist I provides basic HR support to ensure a positive team member experience. The role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to execute Tier I level HR transactions that span the entire HR employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Ensures completion of new hire pre-employment tasks, to include background checks, secondary checks, screenings and other requirements needed.
• Coordinates onboarding process such as scheduling events with Employee Health.
• Accurately manages candidate profiles in Workday.
• Provides support and consistent communication for new hire processes.
• Collaborates with internal partners on job description requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required); Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources or Related Field (Preferred)
• Experience: 1 year HR or relevant experience (Required); Experience with HCM Workday and/or HR case management systems (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP (Preferred)

Pay

Hiring range: $19.70 - $25.63 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
