HR Project Lead

A professional services firm in New Jersey is seeking a new HR Project Lead for a promising opportunity with their growing team. In this role, the HR Project Lead will align human resources strategy, support key projects, and focus on driving engagement across the organization. About the Opportunity:Assignment Length: 6+ monthsSetting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week onsite in Iselin, NJ) Responsibilities:Support and lead HR projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and business objectives are metDevelop project plans, track milestones, manage risks and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadershipServe as a resource to address workplace concerns with discretion and fairness, leveraging HR policies, compliance practices, and employment law considerationsPromote and reinforce company values, culture, and employee engagementGuide managers through performance management cycles, providing coaching on feedback, goal setting, and development plansUtilize HR systems, data management, and reporting for workforce insightsIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and operational efficiencyDocument and maintain HR procedures, process maps, and standard operating practicesAnalyze workforce and project-related data to identify trends, measure success, and support decision-makingPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years acting as a Business Partner, Employee Relations Specialist, HR Project Specialist or ManagerGood knowledge of Employment Law & Employee RelationsExperience with HRIS systemsExperience managing HR projects, programs or strategic initiativesKnowledge of project management methods and toolsExperience supporting change management and process improvement initiativesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and HR reporting toolsAbility to work independently, act with discretion, and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environmentBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
