Position Summary
The HR Onboarding Program Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of onboarding programs at Black Box, with a focus on technical, field-based, and data center professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage end-to-end onboarding programs for corporate, technical, and field-based employees.
- Develop role-based onboarding tracks for data center technicians, network engineers, field service technicians, and infrastructure deployment teams.
- Ensure onboarding aligns with company service delivery standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
- Career development and professional growth support for new hires.
- Coordinate onboarding requirements including: Site access and security credentials Safety and compliance training Data center protocols Customer-specific onboarding requirements
- Manage equipment provisioning, system access, and onboarding workflows within HRIS or onboarding platforms.
- Partner with hiring managers and operational leaders to ensure onboarding aligns with team and business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in onboarding, HR coordination, customer success, or related roles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Experience with Oracle or related HRIS/ onboarding platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in IT services, infrastructure, or technology environments.
- Knowledge of HR compliance and employee lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Workday, or Salesforce.
- Strong presentation and training facilitation skills.
