About the Role
As a People & Culture Business Partner I (HR Generalist), you will support key People & Culture operations throughout the employee lifecycle by providing exceptional administrative and operational support. From onboarding new employees and processing payroll to maintaining HR records and assisting with employee relations, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive employee experience while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data, including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
- Process bi-weekly payroll and related employee data changes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Cook up onboarding and offboarding activities, including employment documentation, system updates, and orientation support.
- Run HR reports, audits, and compliance reviews to maintain data integrity and support regulatory requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, payroll, benefits, and general HR processes.
- Serve as a scribe during employee relations meetings and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between the People & Culture team and external partners, vendors, and clients.
- Aid in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, scheduling candidates, and assisting with hiring logistics.
- Assist with HR projects, process improvement initiatives, compliance audits, and other People & Culture programs.
- Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team while delivering outstanding internal customer service.
- Ensure all employee information is handled with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- One to three years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, administration, operations, or a related field.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- Payroll processing or payroll administration experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Experience working in a regulated, compliance-focused, or financial services environment preferred.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or progress toward certification is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Pay & Benefits
We are proud to offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits packages. The base range for this position is $64,000 - $68,000 per year, excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
