Provides general support of HR functions to units in the manager’s absence. Offers leadership and support to managers and employees across the organization, assists in identifying best practices and organizational efficiencies, and mentors and trains line managers to accurately apply human resource policies and programs.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement internal HR processes and procedures within ARAMARK guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and advise innovative employee motivation and morale programs.
- Handle day-to-day HR functions including recruiting, staffing, hiring, training, development, coaching, incentives, and disciplinary procedures.
- Assist in processing payroll, download data from Time Plus, troubleshoot transmission or equipment issues with support or IT, and notify department managers of missed punches or errors.
- Accurately input data corrections, tip allocations, tip charges, housing, vacation, PTO, holiday pay, and salaried employee wages.
- Follow ARAMARK policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
- May be required to work nights, weekends, or as business needs dictate.
- Ability to arrive at work on time and dressed in uniform.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager.
Requirements
- 2-5 years in an office setting with administrative functions; HR experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and create, plan, and manage creative HR strategies.
- Knowledge of EEO laws and general HR policies.
- Proficiency with computer, telephone, copier, scanner, label maker, and shredder.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing.
- May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00.
