HR Generalist - $40-$45/hr - Arlington, VA

About the role

Our client, a professional membership organization is seeking a HR Generalist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Arlington, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR generalist support across the organization, including benefits administration, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance
• Serve as a primary resource for employee benefits, open enrollment, and employee inquiries
• Maintain HRIS data, employee records, reporting, and workforce analytics
• Support onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR administration
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities
• Partner with leadership and vendors to support HR programs and employee experience
• Assist with strategic HR projects and gain exposure to talent management and organizational development initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience
• Strong experience with benefits administration, open enrollment, and HR operations
• HRIS experience required; BambooHR preferred
• Knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices

Pay

$40-$45/hr while on the contract; Permanent Salary: $80K-$90K DOE

Schedule

Start Date: ASAP!; 6-month Temp-to-Hire opportunity; Hybrid schedule: Tuesday-Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote; Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; Ballston location in Arlington, VA; Metro Accessible!
