Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR on employee relations matters, providing coaching and conflict mediation
- Develop and implement a comprehensive employee relations strategy that aligns with legal standards and company objectives
- Create and enforce policies ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal standards
- Design and deliver training programs on conflict resolution and workplace conduct
- Collaborate with HR teams to integrate employee relations strategies with broader initiatives
- Manage a small team and oversee the grievance resolution process, including complex investigations
- Monitor employee relations metrics and utilize data to identify trends and risks
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive employee relations or HR experience, ideally in retail or corporate settings
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; master's degree or HR certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations including EEO, FMLA, ADA
- Strong skills in conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation
