Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and HR on employee relations matters, providing coaching and conflict mediation
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive employee relations strategy that aligns with legal standards and company objectives
  • Create and enforce policies ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal standards
  • Design and deliver training programs on conflict resolution and workplace conduct
  • Collaborate with HR teams to integrate employee relations strategies with broader initiatives
  • Manage a small team and oversee the grievance resolution process, including complex investigations
  • Monitor employee relations metrics and utilize data to identify trends and risks

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive employee relations or HR experience, ideally in retail or corporate settings
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; master's degree or HR certification preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations including EEO, FMLA, ADA
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution, mediation, and negotiation
