Essential Job Responsibilities
- Distributes HR correspondence and mail.
- Sends out welcome letters, core value mugs, and assists with new hire desk setups.
- Affords assistance in organizing special events, Holiday parties, Wall of Fame, etc.
- Affords assistance in auditing and purchasing Harvest logo merchandise.
- Affords assistance to the human resources department with various projects including creating and updating forms, typing correspondence, and creating spreadsheets and document templates.
- Maintains sufficient supplies of human resources forms and other materials such as Harvest logo merchandise, recruitment packets, and new hire orientation folders.
- Uploads employee files into Workday including but not limited to new hire forms, conflict of interest forms, gift approval forms.
- Maintains Harvest photo files.
- Updates HR forms and handbook as directed.
- Affords assistance to the staffing team with scheduling interviews.
- Affords assistance with gathering information for the yearly calendar.
- Affords assistance with sorting and distribution of service awards, compliance posters, calendars etc.
- Affords assistance with putting together materials and set-ups for trainings, orientations, meetings etc.
- Affords assistance with logging and submitting HR invoices to Accounts Payable department.
- Works in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
- Affords assistance in recruitment activities (Ex: Career Fairs & other campus activities).
- Affords assistance in generating surveys/feedback/debriefs.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a 3.25 GPA.
- Willing to work 20-29 hours a week.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Required - Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Preferred - Microsoft Teams and Workday.
- Education Requirements: Required - Freshman or Sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in human resources, business administration, industrial psychology, or a closely related field.
