About the role
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to Division Presidents, Vice Presidents, and operational leadership across multiple Eurest divisions. This role drives business performance through people strategies that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional associate experience. The HRBP provides senior-level HR partnership and consultation in talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, workforce planning, employee relations, labor productivity, and new business mobilization.
As a key member of the HR leadership team, this individual collaborates with operational leaders to align human capital strategies with business objectives while fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, accountability, and high performance. The ideal candidate is based on the west coast (AZ, WA, or CA) and brings a strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development, along with the ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels. This position operates within a matrixed environment and serves as the subject matter expert on talent initiatives, HR programs, policy implementation, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. The HRBP proactively identifies opportunities, provides data-driven insights, and delivers innovative HR solutions that support Eurest's continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Partners with Talent Acquisition to identify and facilitate growth/movement of superior talent.
- Supports and engages associates on Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
- Participates in senior-level interviews for Regional and Operational leadership.
- Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plans.
- Assesses and intervenes in ADA/FMLA/WC cases.
- Conducts climate surveys and exit interviews, as well as reviews Associate and Customer Satisfaction surveys to analyze and monitor levels of associate morale and job satisfaction.
- Prepares reports and recommends procedures to drive labor efficiency.
- Facilitates and creates training material for leadership development based on needs of the business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Hospitality Management/Integration, Statistics, or related degree.
- A solid understanding of all key HR specialist areas.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in a multi-site, multi-state environment.
- Associate relations experience a must.
- Previous operations experience a plus.
- Union experience highly desirable.
- Must be able to travel up to 75%.
Pay
$120,000 - $130,000 / year plus a 10% annual bonus.
