About the role

Performs administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resources department, including support of the Total Rewards program.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with bi-weekly payroll processing by reviewing payroll data for accuracy and completeness, verifying benefit deductions and employee changes, and supporting resolution of discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
  • Captures and processes paperwork related to benefits, retirement plans, COBRA continuation, workers’ compensation, unemployment, and other Total Rewards components.
  • Affords support to the Payroll & Benefits Specialist and HR Business Partner II with Total Rewards - related projects, audits, and process improvements as needed.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding organizational processes, policies, procedures, and Total Rewards programs, ensuring consistent and accurate information.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as open enrollment, health fairs, organization-wide meetings, and employee communications.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of all employee records, compensation data, and Total Rewards information.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and experience with HRIS system.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Schedule

Full-time | Monday–Friday

After successful completion of probationary period, position may be eligible for hybrid work.
