HR Associate - Onboarding - Full-Time - Miamisburg

Responsibilities

  • Cook up and facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, from offer acceptance to their first day.
  • Coordinate background checks, schedule Pre-Employment Services appointments, and finalize start dates.
  • Communicate with candidates and leaders to keep everyone updated on progress and any delays.
  • Act as a primary contact for new hires, addressing their questions and offering support.
  • Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time.
  • Partner with HR and managers to ensure Day 1 readiness.
  • Maintain onboarding checklists and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Track onboarding milestones and escalate any issues to relevant teams.
  • Identify ways to enhance onboarding processes and contribute to a welcoming, scalable experience.
  • Submit non-referral bonus payouts for Payroll processing post-hire.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments with multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • One to two years of experience in HR, onboarding, or talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and onboarding tools.
