Responsibilities
- Cook up and facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, from offer acceptance to their first day.
- Coordinate background checks, schedule Pre-Employment Services appointments, and finalize start dates.
- Communicate with candidates and leaders to keep everyone updated on progress and any delays.
- Act as a primary contact for new hires, addressing their questions and offering support.
- Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Partner with HR and managers to ensure Day 1 readiness.
- Maintain onboarding checklists and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Track onboarding milestones and escalate any issues to relevant teams.
- Identify ways to enhance onboarding processes and contribute to a welcoming, scalable experience.
- Submit non-referral bonus payouts for Payroll processing post-hire.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, changing environments with multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- One to two years of experience in HR, onboarding, or talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and onboarding tools.
