HR Associate - Evadale, TX

Description

The Associate HRBP is responsible for providing day-to-day, foundational HR support and administering essential HR processes for the Evadale mill. This position requires a dedicated, and detail-oriented individual who will be a crucial member of our Human Resources team and will interact daily with our unionized hourly workforce. This position will be provided with intentional development to help grow an early HR professional for future roles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
• Experience or degree in HR from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Human Resources Certification preferred: PHR, or SHRM-CP
• 0 – 2 years HR experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc.).
• Experience with employee databases, HRIS and/or learning management systems is preferred (PeopleSoft, Avature, Workforce Software)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor and proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Must be flexible to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities.
• Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, safety, and professionalism.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple, detailed tasks.
• Possess drive and initiative to go above and beyond to achieve goals while collaborating in a team environment.
