About the role
The HR Assistant / Recruiter supports recruiting, onboarding, employee documentation, and day-to-day HR administrative needs. The role requires managing job board postings and candidate responses, sourcing, screening, and following up with potential candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, assisting with onboarding, creating and updating job descriptions, supporting the hiring process, maintaining accurate employee records, and handling paperwork and HR documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage job board postings and candidate responses
- Sources, screens, and follows up with potential candidates by phone and email
- Schedules and conducts phone, video, and in-person interviews
- Aids in onboarding new employees and collecting required documentation
- Creates, updates, and maintains job descriptions and job posting content
- Helps define hiring criteria and supports the hiring process for open positions
- Maintains accurate employee records, including contact information, payroll-related details, time off, performance documentation, and other HR records
- Supports the HR department with paperwork, documentation, audits, and filing
- Answers employee questions regarding basic HR policies and procedures
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employee records and HR matters
Requirements
- Previous experience in recruiting, HR, hiring, or a related administrative role
- Experience using job boards, resume databases, sourcing tools, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and friendly phone and email etiquette
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects at once
- Basic knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment procedures preferred
- Customer-service mindset and ability to work well with candidates, employees, and management
Qualifications
- Relevant education, licensure, or experience for the role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment
