About the role
Support analytical testing for process development in a laboratory setting, including processing biological samples, HPLC separation, data analysis, and maintaining laboratory equipment and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Processing of biological samples, HPLC separation, and data analysis
- Preparing buffers, setting up instruments, sterilization, sampling, and cleaning of systems
- Document laboratory activities electronically and enter process data into database
- Analyze data for samples and report findings to investigators
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs
- Follow safe laboratory practices and maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience
- Experience in the analysis of therapeutic proteins and polysaccharides using various UPLC and HPLC techniques including HPSEC-MALS and UV
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, hands-on capability, ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Rahway, NJ.
Pay
Compensation range: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience level.
