HPC Test Engineer with Security Clearance
About the role
The HPC Test Engineer will be responsible for testing and validating High Performance Computing (HPC) systems according to defined test plans to ensure that all system requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Test and validate HPC systems in accordance with established test plans.
- Develop and execute test plans for HPC systems.
- Integrate and test REST APIs related to HPC systems.
- Create complex database queries to analyze test data from various database platforms.
- Demonstrate experience in defect tracking and resolution processes.
- Implement CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years' experience as a Test Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- A Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of additional Test Engineer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
- Experience using Linux Command Line Interface (CLI) and Linux tools.
- Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting for task automation.
- Experience developing and executing test plans for HPC systems.
- Experience integrating and testing REST APIs related to HPC systems.
- Experience creating complex database queries to analyze test data across various database platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in defect tracking and resolution processes.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI.
Skills
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with Splunk for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data.
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools including Ansible.
- Experience with Git source control systems.
Pay
$170,000 - $190,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
