HPC - Senior Software Engineer - Linux, Java, PostgreSQL

Description We are seeking a Software Engineer that shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries. Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position. Experience Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Required Skills Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux ToolsExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonRecent software development experience using JavaRecent software development experience using the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring IntegrationExperience with SQL databases including PostgreSQLExperience with NoSQL databases including MongoDBExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerdExperience with container orchestration technologies including KubernetesExperience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environmentFamiliar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and KafkaFamiliar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CIFamiliar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including AnsibleExperience using Git Source Control System Desired Skills Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence Benefits Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $229,000 - $251,000.
