About the Role

This project was powered by our proprietary Agentic Memory Bank System, a dynamic knowledge hub enabling specialized AI agents to collaborate, share context, and document every decision. The system functions as a living playbook, growing smarter with each iteration to ensure efficiency and repeatability.

Four specialized AI agents drove the creation, testing, deployment, debugging, and refinement of the automated news engine:

• Content Strategist Agent: Defined editorial standards, prioritizing seven-day freshness, small business relevance, and strict citation rules for trustworthy content.
• Workflow Engineer Agent: Integrated Claude’s Code Action with GitHub Actions to automate daily research and draft concise, impactful briefings.
• Static-Site Architect Agent: Optimized the Jekyll/React stack to transform markdown into responsive articles and a fast, filterable News Catalog.
• Quality & Resilience Agent: Built rollback scripts, smoke tests, and observability tools to ensure a reliable pipeline with rapid recovery.

Solution & Architecture

The news engine is a streamlined, scalable pipeline designed for maximum impact with minimal overhead:

• Daily Curation: A GitHub Action triggers Claude to scour reputable sources, curating AI news tailored for small businesses and generating a concise markdown report.
• Automated Publishing: Jekyll converts markdown into static HTML and JSON, while Parcel optimizes the React-based News Catalog for fast, interactive browsing.
• Deployment Pipeline: CI/CD workflows test builds, sync to Amazon S3, and clear CloudFront caches, ensuring instant, reliable updates for readers.
• Recovery & QA: Rollback mechanisms and automated spot-checks keep issues to five-minute fixes, maintaining trust and uptime.

The system was rigorously tested to simulate failures and edge cases, with phased deployment starting internally to refine the process before going live. Debugging is proactive—issues like race conditions or browser quirks are logged, resolved, and prevented via the Agentic Memory Bank.

Time & Cost Savings

Before automation, curating a daily briefing required 60–90 minutes of analyst effort: sourcing, fact-checking, rewriting, formatting, and deploying.
