Houston – Private Equity Associate

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP’s Private Equity practice group seeks an associate with 2–5 years of experience in private fund transactional matters.

About the role

• Focus on fund formation, investment management, investment joint ventures, and related transactional work across private equity, real estate, and private credit asset classes.
• Develop long-term client relationships within a nationally recognized corporate practice.
• Available in Dallas, Richmond, Washington DC, or Houston.

Requirements

• Strong academic background and excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Licensed in the jurisdiction of the chosen office (required within one year of joining).
• Team-oriented mindset and desire to contribute to a collaborative environment.

Pay

Expected salary range: $235,000 – $365,000, with actual offers varying based on education, training, skill sets, licensure, certification, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.
