About the role

The Housing Revenue & Resident Accounts Specialist is responsible for managing revenue collection, resident account maintenance, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and processes rent payments from residents
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts
  • Responds to inquiries from residents regarding their accounts
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
  • Works closely with other departments to resolve billing issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of housing finance and accounting principles
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
