Housing Refurb Technician
Job Description
Peak’s Field Housing Refurb Technician is responsible for the refurbishment of mobile homes and skid houses. Essential duties include repairing walls, subfloor, ceiling, cabinets and countertops; replacing sheetrock, flooring, siding, doors and metal roofing; repairing/replacing electrical and plumbing components; painting; communicating professionally with co-workers; preparing and participating in job safety meetings; ensuring compliance with company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of carpentry
- General knowledge of plumbing and electrical
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair
- Ability to stand and kneel for extended time periods
- Ability to climb ladders and remain 100% tied off when working at heights
- Conscious of operating in and contributing to a safe work environment
- Goal-oriented, driven to accomplish results, and willing to learn
Physical Demands and Exposures
- Near moving mechanical parts
- Exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions
- Vibration
- Dust
- Prolonged sitting, standing, walking
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Maximum 50 lbs lifting capacity
Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
