As a Housing Operations Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in helping launch a brand-new program by ensuring residents have access to housing benefits, health insurance, coordinated entry assessments, and the administrative supports that help keep housing services running smoothly. This role combines housing support expertise, data management, resident engagement, and operational coordination. You'll work closely with residents, case managers, county partners, and leadership to help remove barriers and support positive housing outcomes. What You'll Do Coordinate Housing Support applications, renewals, and benefit-related paperworkServe as a liaison between residents, county partners, and housing teams to resolve complex Housing Support issuesAssist residents with health insurance enrollment and renewals as a Certified MNsure Application CounselorConduct Coordinated Entry assessments and maintain required HMIS dataTrack referrals and communicate housing opportunities and status updates to staff and residentsMaintain accurate resident records, data systems, and required documentationSupport Housing Support billing, eligibility reviews, recertifications, and reimbursement processesTrain and support staff on Housing Support requirements, documentation standards, and compliance practicesPrepare reports, monitor data quality, and support program performance trackingCollaborate with residents, staff, and community partners to promote housing stability and positive outcomes Qualifications What You Bring High school diploma or equivalentCurrent MNsure Certified Application Counselor certification, or ability to obtain certificationMinimum of three years of experience working with Housing Support, MNsure, public benefits, or related systemsExperience working with individuals experiencing homelessnessExperience using electronic health record systems, preferably CredibleStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and documentation requirementsStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communitiesHMIS and Coordinated Entry experience preferred What We Offer 32-hour full-time work weekMedical Health planHealth Savings Account (HSA)Nice Healthcare: offers chat, video visits and in-home primary care visitsDental planDependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Basic Life/AD&D & Voluntary Life/AD&DLong term disabilityOption to purchase critical illness, accident insurance and short-term disability401(k) Plan10 Paid holidays & generous PTO How To Apply Submit your application online through Avivo’s Careers page at Avivomn.org.
