Housing Litigation Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Support a high-impact practice focused on some of the most pressing housing issues in California
• Work on writs of mandate, municipal/public entity litigation, and land use law cases
• Engage with laws such as the Housing Accountability Act, affordable housing regulations, housing elements, builder’s remedy and land use litigation
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to address California’s housing crisis

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably involving writs of mandate, municipal/public entity litigation, and/or land use law
• A demonstrated interest or background in housing and land use law, especially in the municipal context
• Strong academic credentials and the ability to take initiative and work independently within a collaborative team

• Admitted to practice law in California

Pay

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position seeking an associate with 3 or more years of experience is $127,500 - $185,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience.
