Housing Inspector
The City of Keene is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housing Inspector to ensure safe, healthy, and well-maintained housing conditions for all residents.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate housing units for compliance with local codes and regulations
- Inspect properties for safety hazards and maintenance issues
- Provide education and guidance to property owners and tenants
- Document findings and communicate with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with state and federal housing laws
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in property management, building inspection, or a related field
- Valid driver's license
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to educate others and build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders
