Housing Administrative Support
About the role
Join the Housing & Residential Education team as a full-time Housing & Administrative Support professional and play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and mission-driven residential experience for more than 2,200 students and 2,000 summer guests each year.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, providing basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities.
- Collections, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums.
- Reviews and assesses status of student work orders in housing system, conducting needed follow up.
- Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision.
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations including assisting with student staff hiring forms, departmental mail/printing, and management of access cards.
- Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures. Assists with IT, supplies, and facilities ordering and distribution.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with people.
- Satisfactory criminal background check.
Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience.
- Experience with computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working on a college campus.
Skills
- Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and strong leadership.
- The willingness to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Benefits
Hourly compensation range of $18.25 to $20.00. This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Compensation: Hourly compensation range of $18.25 to $20.00.
Conditions of Appointment: Position is a full-time University Staff appointment. The work hours for this position will be 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday on the Green Bay campus.
