Houseperson - ZYUMB

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants on assigned floors
• Collect dirty linens and transport to laundry area
• Deliver fresh linens to room attendant carts throughout the day
• Assist with stripping linens from rooms and cleaning public areas
• Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and housekeeping staff
• Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas
• Respond to guests' requests for housekeeping supplies in a timely manner
• Clean designated areas such as public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, and storage areas
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities to minimize waste
• Collect newspapers and other items for recycling

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Some housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
• Ability to push and/or pull approximately 300 pounds
• Frequently stand, move about the facility, handle objects, and equipment
• Frequently bend, stoop, and kneel

This role operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays. Shift assignments may vary.

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $17.00 to $19.00.
