Houseperson, The Sheraton

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Houseperson to join our team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire.

About the role

As a Houseperson, you will work to ensure the property is kept organized, sanitized, and up to company standards. If you are looking for a role offering fast-paced daily work and career growth opportunities, this position may be for you.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors, carpets, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; remove dirty linens from guest rooms and transport to the laundry room; take clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operations systems.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies; deliver cribs, rollaways, and additional items as requested.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience or diploma required.
• At least one year of working in the hospitality industry is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

• Days, weekends, and holidays
• 8-hour shifts

Pay

$16.00 - $18.00 / hour
