About the role

Join the housekeeping team at Westgate Towers Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, and play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy a memorable vacation. As a Houseperson/Runner, you’ll support housekeepers and maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and common areas in a tropically landscaped property near world-famous theme parks. This position offers access to onsite amenities and those at Westgate Vacation Villas and Westgate Town Center, including Shipwreck Island Water Park. Responsibilities

• Provide support to housekeepers by delivering supplies, removing trash, and cleaning common areas
• Deliver requested items to guest units promptly and efficiently
• Greet guests and respond to their requests in a friendly and helpful manner
• Stock linen closets and other storage areas
• Walk the property daily to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment
• Report any maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Demonstrates a friendly and positive demeanor
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a variety of outdoor weather conditions (e.g., hot, cold, wet, humid)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
