Houseperson - Full Time - Starting Pay $15/hr.

Position Summary

Aid Room Attendants in maintaining clean guest rooms and ensuring a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for guests, visitors, and other employees.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Duties

• Ensure housekeeping carts have adequate supplies of linens, cleaning products, and guest amenities. Restock as necessary and bring needed supplies to room attendants.
• Pick up trash and other refuse collected by room attendants and transport it to the proper disposal locations.
• Pick up soiled linens and dirty glasses collected by room attendants and transport them to the laundry.
• Supply room attendants with fresh linens and glasses as needed.
• Cook up with Rooms Controller and Inspectors on readying special rooms needed.
• Write maintenance tickets for any problems that cannot be handled by housekeeping.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to any requests from guests. If unable to assist directly, find someone who can.
• Be thoroughly knowledgeable of hotel facilities and rooms, and all emergency procedures.
• Be prepared to assist the MOD in an emergency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor or Management.
