Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts.
• Arrive to work on time, consistently.
• Arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.
• Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
• Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
• Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
• Pick up trash.
• Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
• Learn about care and handling of all chemicals used for cleaning; know the appropriate hazardous chemicals MSDS.
• Prepare all rooms scheduled for deep cleaning; to include moving bed and cleaning baseboards, cleaning window valance, cleaning ceiling fans, removing bed skirt for cleaning and taking down drapes and sending to laundry for cleaning.
• Ask for assistance when moving over 50 pounds.
• Assist with the turning of mattresses as needed.
• Clean, stock and organize all work areas before leaving.
• Perform any other jobs that will assist in quality guest service as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Housekeeping Manager.
• Work in a safe manner and be knowledgeable in all safety issues in your area.
• Attend department meetings including required safety meeting when requested.
• Inform Housekeeping Manager or Human Resource Department if any changes in status of driver’s license.
