About the role

Assist housekeeping attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens. Deliver linens and other supplies to housekeeping attendants. Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas. Respond to guests' requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies in a timely and efficient manner. Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas as assigned. Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping. May collect newspaper and other items for recycling. Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures. Comply with all health and safety standards. Attend regular meetings as scheduled. Other job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing in English
• Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints
• Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues
• Ability to learn specific job duties and complete work assignments
• Maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
• Ability to follow direction/instruction
• Possess pleasant demeanor when interacting with team members and guests
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum six (6) months experience housekeeping environmental services area preferred

Starting salary $16.96
