About the role

This is a physically demanding position that involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and hotel areas.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies to plan your day efficiently
• Report room maintenance to the front desk staff and other team members
• Know the difference between ‘light touch’ and ‘full clean’ and complete both effectively
• Vacuum floors, change sheets, restock, and replace all room and bath amenities
• Maintain a professional appearance including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment
• Select the appropriate cleaning tools and products to clean various surfaces

• Neat, organized, and efficient work habits
• Ability to handle physically challenging tasks
• Pride in presenting a spotless room
• Comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods

This is an hourly position reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, with little to no travel required outside the property and surrounding areas.
